    Griffon Vulture preserve, a Roman road/bridge and a town called Bele with under 55 inhabitants. (Free houses, I am told). You only need a big bus on a narrow road with steep drops to get here. All the stone crumbling buildings are farm buildings for the town but no animals anywhere. I did learn that the town we toured is empty because it is olive picking season. Every family has particular trees side by side and mixed together. They inherit them and some are hundreds of years old. There are almost NO farm animals anywhere. That's one of the reason the vultures are endangered because there are no carcasses to eat!Read more
