Key learning: never rent a car from FOX. Tried to give me one with bad tires and awful seats and has charged me a partially refundable $380 above my already paid fee. I didn't even get the insurance. I did walk the lot and found a car with new tires, and also no license plate... just a new car paper tag taped to the front windshield. So, we'll.see how far that gets us! It's a dodge hornet. Had the most comfortable seats of the options too, which is to say they didn't suck. The air conditioner is awesome, so there is that.
We had dinner last night at Panda Express. Had to go in because there was an overheated car stuck in the drive thru. But it's a DRY heat...

Drove around some to see the lights, especially on the Sphere, which looks awesome. Spent the night with a friend-of-a-friend in a gated community. Nice lady. Heading out soon on a coffee quest, then on to MeowWolf and Zac Branagans Haunted Museum. Pictures will follow.Lue lisää
