• Agafay Desert

    March 11 in Morocco ⋅ ⛅ 13 °C

After a very relaxing start into the day and a chess game later, Luke and I left our Riad at shortly before 2pm to catch our ride into the desert.

First stop was an Argan oil cooperative. The lady spoke so fast that it took maybe 3 minutes to explain the whole production process and all we saw were nutshells and two ladies turning the top of a basket. The rest of our stop was focused on buying the dozens of creams and argan oil variations they offered. And a 100ml bottle of argan oil cost over 20 Swiss Francs.

Sooooo we enjoyed our quad tour a little more since we got our money's worth🤓 Luke was positively surprised I didn't drive like a slow-poke (no clue how he got the notion that I would???). We enjoyed a Morroccan dinner and a cool fireshow. All in all the day was a success! And we're definitely buying argan oil someplace else!
