Roadtrip Day 10 - Tongariro & FW Highway

Some seriously heavy thunderstorms and promise of snow meant our hopes for the Tongariro Crossing needed reconsidering today - so we headed out for some shorter, safer walks around National Park village instead, including to Silica Rapids and (suprise suprise) another LOTR filming location - Gollum's Pool (via a 'world famous' eclair bakery in Ohakune).
