Last day of wandering around as tomorrow will be devoted to preparing for the next phase of the journey. Today I visited Château de Castelnaud et la Musée de la Guerre au Moyen Age, and the Château de Beynac, two rivals during the 100 Year's War on opposite sides of the Dordogne river. Castelnaud was usually controlled by the English, Beynac by the French, and they're both "way up on the hill where they do do the boogie" (my favorite song by John Hartford).
