Victoria Falls Day 2

So exciting for 11 of us who did the Elephant Experience this morning. We started the day at 6:30 am with a 30 minute drive to the elephant sanctuary. Along the road we passed lots of competitors in a local marathon race. They must have started in the dark to beat the building heat.
While the 12 elephants in the sanctuary aren't roaming totally free, the sanctuary is a huge natural reserve with many animals. The elephants are looked after by game keepers so we were able to walk amongst these beautiful creatures under their watchful eyes. What a joy to be up and close to such beautiful creatures.Læs mere
