Galapagos - Isla Isabela

The transfer (2h ride by speedboat) from the island Santa Cruz to Isabela went not everyone well... Here we got to stay for 3 more nights before retourning to the mainland of Ecuador.

Even though we were still on Galapagos, the two islands we stayed were completely different. Right away we felt in love with the little village of Isabela with its charming restaurants, bars and lovely beaches. The visit of a Flamingo Lagoon made the day complete.

On the second day the expedition to Sierra Negro & Chico Volcano was on our programm. Sierra Negro is the second largest volcanic crater in the world, his last eruption was in 2005. After a 8km hike along the crater (and we had to go all the way back!) we reached Volcano Chico where we enjoyed a beautiful view almost over the whole Island.Baca selengkapnya
