On the rosd

Deutsch:
Heute saß ich auch wieder die meiste Zeit des Tages im Auto. Ich bin wieder durch die endlose Weite Australiens mit den ganzen kleinen Wäldern und Graslandschaften gefahren, es ist immer wider aufs Neue wunder schön.Die Tankstellen sind im outback immer recht weit auseinander, sodass ich  bei jeder volltanken egal wie viel ich verbraucht hab. Nach einer längeren Strecke ohne Tankstelle als mein Tank, schon halb leer war, hatte diese Raststätte mein Sprit nicht, ich musste also weiterfahren. Ich hab zwar noch in 20 l Tank aber trotzdem habe ich mich etwas mulmig gefühlt und wirklich mit den letzten Tropfen. In meinen regulären Tank habe ich es noch geschafft die Tankstelle zu erreichen. Dementsprechend habe ich auch erst in der Abenddämmerung einen Schlafplatz gefunden, an dem ich es mir dann gemütlich gemacht habe und abends noch ein paar Filme geschaut hab.

Today I spent most of the day in the car again. I drove again through the endless expanse of Australia with all the small forests and grasslands, it is always wonderfully beautiful.the gas stations are always quite far apart in the outback, so I fill up at each one no matter how much I have used. After a long stretch without a gas station, when my tank was already half empty, this service station didn't have my fuel, so I had to drive on. I still had 20 liters in my tank, but I still felt a bit queasy and really was down to my last drops. I still managed to reach the filling station with my regular tank.
