Erledigen der Einkäufe

Heute war ein sehr, sehr geschäftiger Tag. Als Erstes bin ich auf dem College Parkplatz aufgewacht. Natürlich relativ früh da ich Angst hatte erwischt zu werden. Dann habe ich dort Kaffee gekocht und bin erst mal etwas aufgewacht. Nun musste ich mein Auto hinten komplett ausräumen, habe es etwas ausgefegt und wieder Ordnung reingebracht. Als das erledigt war, bin ich zum Baumarkt gefahren, habe dort aber leider nicht das gefunden, was ich brauchte (eine Plane für mein Dachzelt). Zumindest habe ich einige Kräutersamen gekauft, die ich versuchen möchte anzupflanzen. Nächster Halt ist ein Secondhandshop, da ich neue Wanderschuhe brauche und ich hatte Glück. Es gab ein Pärchen Leder Wanderschuhe mit Stahlkappen und die passen wie angegossen. Zum Glück konnte ich mich bremsen und habe nichts Weiteres gekauft. Als ich auch das erledigt hatte, ging es in eine große Einkaufsmall mit vielen Läden, dort habe ich erst mal ein frozen Joghurt kauft. Der Stand hat eine Auswahl von sieben verschiedenen Geschmacksrichtungen und eine große Theke mit Toppings. Der Preis wird per 100g berechnet und als kleines Spiel darf man schätzen wie viel man sich aufgeladen hat und wenn es stimmt, bekommt man den Becher umsonst. Ich lag 8g daneben nichtsdestotrotz hat es super lecker geschmeckt. Nun bin ich zum Campingstore in der Mall gegangen da ich eine kleine Angelberatung brauchte, hier unten in den nicht mehr tropischen Gewässern ist das Angeln ganz anders und ich wollte mich auch über den generell Fischbestand etwas informieren. Als das erledigt war, habe ich mich mit Rachel eine Freundin meiner Mutter, die sie während eines Skiurlaubs kennengelernt hat getroffen, wir waren wieder beim Mexikaner essen und haben uns lange und gut unterhalten. Nach dem netten Treffen bin ich noch in diverse Läden gegangen, um Lebensmittel einzukaufen. Außerdem war ich im Angelladen, da ich noch Metall Vorfächer brauchte. Mein Ziel für die nächsten Tage ist Bribi Island, dort möchte ich gerne auf Bullenhaie Angel. Auf Bribi Island angekommen muss ich aber sagen, dass die Wege etwas anders waren als erwartet. Ich muss durch 20-30cm hohen Sand fahren, dass trotz meines 4 × 4 Fahrzeugs nicht besonders einfach ist. Dennoch hat es Spaß gemacht und ich bin letztendlich an einem sehr schönen Spot angekommen. Dort kommt man nur mit entsprechendem Auto hin. Nun habe ich erst mal mein Camp aufgebaut, die Gegend erkundet, bin durch knietiefen Schlamm in den Mangroven gelaufen und habe mudcrabs gejagt. Nachdem die Sonne untergegangen war, habe ich ein Feuer angemacht und alles zum Grillen vorbereitet. Ich habe seit Monaten nicht mehr gegrillt und freue mich wirklich darauf, eine grobe Bratwurst mit etwas Brot und Gemüse zu essen. Nach dem Essen saß ich noch etwas am Feuer und bin dann auch ins Bett.

Today was a very, very busy day. The first thing I did was wake up in the college parking lot. Relatively early, of course, because I was afraid of getting caught. Then I made coffee there and woke up a bit. Now I had to completely clean out the back of my car, sweep it out a bit and put it back in order. Once that was done, I went to the DIY store, but unfortunately I didn't find what I needed there (a tarpaulin for my roof tent). At least I bought some herb seeds that I want to try planting. Next stop is a second-hand store as I need new hiking boots and I was lucky. There was a pair of leather hiking boots with steel toe caps and they fit like a glove. Luckily I was able to stop myself and didn't buy anything else. Once I had done that too, I went to a large shopping mall with lots of stores, where I first bought a frozen yogurt. The stand has a selection of seven different flavors and a large counter with toppings. The price is calculated per 100g and as a little game you can guess how much you've loaded up and if it's right, you get the cup for free. I was 8g off, but it still tasted delicious. Now I went to the camping store in the mall as I needed a little fishing advice, down here in the no longer tropical waters the fishing is quite different and I also wanted to find out about the general fish population. Once that was done, I met up with Rachel, a friend of my mother's who she met on a skiing vacation, we went out for a Mexican meal again and had a good, long chat. After the nice meeting, I went to various stores to buy groceries. I also went to the fishing store because I needed some metal leaders. My destination for the next few days is Bribi Island, where I would like to fish for bull sharks. Once I arrived on Bribi Island, however, I have to say that the paths were a little different than expected. I have to drive through sand 20-30 cm high, which is not particularly easy despite my 4 × 4 vehicle. Nevertheless, it was fun and I finally arrived at a very nice spot. You can only get there with the right car. Now I set up camp, explored the area, walked through knee-deep mud in the mangroves and hunted mudcrabs. After the sun had set, I lit a fire and prepared everything for the barbecue.
