Coalas und Abschied

Deutsch:
Als ich heute aufgewacht bin, war leider in der ganzen Straße Stromausfall. Dementsprechend gab es kein Frühstück für mich, dennoch habe ich mich eine Weile auf dem Balkon gesetzt und habe meine Abreise vorbereitet. Ich habe meine Angebote verglichen und eine Autowerkstatt ausgewählt, die meine Reifen am billigsten machen kann. Im Anschluss daran habe ich mein Zimmer aufgeräumt und meine Sachen gepackt, den der Plan für heute ist runter an die Gold coast zu fahren. Als alles aufgeräumt und auch mein Auto bereit zur Abfahrt war, habe ich mich noch auf den Weg zu einem kleinen Spaziergang durch den Wald gemacht, da ich gehört habe, dass es dort Koalas geben soll. Ich bin bestimmt 2 Stunden mit dem Kopf im Nacken durch den Wald gelaufen, ohne Glück zu haben, aber auf den letzten Metern konnte ich tatsächlich einen kleinen dicken Teddybären entdecken können. Der Koala war hoch im Baum in einer Astgabel und war sichtlich entspannt am Schlafen. Gott sei Dank hatte ich die große Kamera dabei und konnte gute Bilder von ihm machen. Auf dem Weg zum Auto konnte ich auch noch eine Schlange sehen, die allerdings nicht giftig war. Jetzt habe ich mich von Rachel verabschiedet und habe mich dann im Einbruch der Dunkelheit auf den Weg zur Gold coast gemacht. Dort angekommen habe ich mich noch auf den Felsen gesetzt und eine Weile geangelt und konnte auch etwas fangen. Bester Laune bin ich danach ins Bett gefallen, denn auch wenn es schön war bei Rachel bin ich froh, jetzt wieder frei im Auto unterwegs zu sein.

When I woke up today, there was unfortunately a power cut in the whole street. So there was no breakfast for me, but I sat on the balcony for a while and prepared my departure. I compared my offers and chose a garage that could do my tires the cheapest. I then tidied up my room and packed my things, as the plan for today is to drive down to the Gold Coast. Once everything was tidied up and my car was ready to go, I set off for a short walk through the forest, as I had heard that there are koalas there. I walked through the forest with my head down for about 2 hours without any luck, but on the last few meters I was actually able to spot a small, fat teddy bear. The koala was high up in a tree in a fork and was visibly relaxed and sleeping.
Thank goodness I had the big camera with me and was able to take some good pictures of him. On the way back to the car I also saw a snake, but it wasn't poisonous. Now I said goodbye to Rachel and made my way to Gold Coast at nightfall. Once there, I sat down on the rocks and fished for a while and managed to catch something. Afterwards I fell into bed in a good mood, because even though it was nice at Rachel's, I'm glad to be free in the car again.Baca selengkapnya
