Day in Santiago de Compostela

We had a nice day dominated by the Noon Mass at the Santiago Cathedral. The highlight was seeing the swinging Butafumiero or swinging incense. We also got to see the Tomb of St. James and his sarcophagus. St. James is the reason for the Camino. The pilgrimage to Santiago is not complete until you’ve paid image to the Tomb of Dt.
