Zurautz to Deba 15.6 miles 6 hours

The day started out great. I was out of the hotel at 7:15 and on my way to Deba. The ocean was beautiful and the lights of Zurautz behind me were stunning. I soon got to Geteria, the birthplace is the first navigator to sail around the world. His name was Juan Sebastian Encano. He was placed at the helm after Magellan was killed. The rest of the day was still beautiful with many mountain to climb and go over. Tomorrow's hike may be the hardest on the Del Norte. Wish me luck.Leggi altro
