Deba to Merkins. 16 miles- 8 hours

They say that today's hike is the hardest that the Camino del Norte has to offer. I hope that it is because I don't want to do a harder one. It was brutal. 16 miles and 3000 feet of elevation gain. Not helping was that it was raining hard and the wind was howling. Doing today's hike was an achievement and I'm proud of myself, but it was kinda miserable. Not a day for pictures.Læs mere
