A fairly easy day's paddle of 24kms and made it into Swan Hill caravan park by early afternoon. Will take a break here tomorrow and have a look around. The tourist blurb here says the Swan Hill region is Australias largest producer of table grapes, almonds, olive oil and pistachios, and also produces 25 % of Australia's carrots. Impressive!

Traveler I’m visualising one of those sticks that mum used to use on her steering wheel - I think she still to I’ll uses it? Can never be too careful!

Traveler Ha ha! I had thought about bringing a bike chain lock along, but didn't in the end, so it's free for the taking. The average age of caravan park users these days would be 70+ so I think they would stand out wheeling a kayak along...
