3 days ahead of schedule
Again a super quiet day on the river with only 1 group of fishermen on the bank. Not a single boat. It did make me reflect on what might happen if I broke my leg, or worse, dropped my phone in the river!
The weather Gods are still smiling with high 20's maximums and lows around 12 degree, together with tail winds. Perfect really. Have noticed a lot more flies around though. Hopefully this won't get worse as they are an absolute pest when you’re paddling.
Should to get to Boundary Bend tomorrow if I can do another 40+ km day.

ResenärHmm interesting about the flies - we went to Cooper Creek about this time of year and the flies were shocking. Had to eat our lunch spooning mouthfuls under the fly net. Might be worth seeing if you can get a fly net at BB. This is so interesting Mark - we get to see the river without doing any of the work! Hang on to that phone though!
