At sea

Today was a routine day at sea. The evening, however, was pretty action-packed. Because we are now “platinum” level in Oceania’s loyalty program. we were invited to a special pre-reception for the Oceania Club to meet the captain and the officers before the other Oceania Club members arrived.

One of the things I enjoy at the Oceania Club cocktail parties is the statistics that are sometimes shared. Tonight, we learned that the three countries with the most passengers on board are Australia with 18, Canada with 37 and the U.S. with 526. Of the 600+ passengers, 288 are sailing with Oceania for the first time. There are seven platinum Oceania Club passengers on board.

Following that cocktail party, we were invited to dinner at the steak house specialty restaurant with the general manager along with two other platinum couples. It was a lovely evening.Leia mais
