Salinas de Brito

Today we drove from Valle Viñales to Playa Larga (4.5h) all along the nearly empty highway.
When we arrivdd we went to the National Park Ciénaga de Zapata, there we drove 21km in the „Sector Salinas de Brito“ along beautiful lagoons! We saw many different birds.
The cuban national bird „El Tocororo“ , pelicans, sea hawks, different ducks, herons, thousand flamingos and we were lucky enough to even see a little crocodile!! 🦩🦢🪶🦜🐊
It was amazingly quiet out here (exept the sounds of the nature of course..) and there was no wind so the water was perfect for some great shots with great reflections!Read more
