Normanton

Have arrived in Normanton, the atmosphere here has the feel of the far north. The weather is in the low 30s and everything feels very laid back. We saw many, many brolgas just south of here and even more when we drove up to Karumba for Barra and chips at Ashes.
But Muttonhole Wetlands topped it all. Lots of water and water lilies everywhere, with brolgas, egrets, heron and darters spotted all around. Amazing!Les mer
