Mt Isa Qld

Just a short stop at Mt Isa, 2 nights. The Underground Hospital was really good as was our drive out to Lake Moondarra.

Normanton

Leichhardt Lagoon

Definitely one of our favourite places….so much bird life. Lots of water here still after the floods some time back, perfect for the water lilies which were just superb.
Atherton Tablelands

It’s drizzled most days of our time up here, one week Malanda, one week Yungaburra and one week at Kuranda. Very annoying at times but really great for the waterfalls.

Very wet and muddy up here, even had to use 4WD just to park the van. The rainforest tracks are all wet and slippery so we picked our walks very carefully. Things finally started to dry out a bitLeggi altro

The most peaceful, restful spot, birds everywhere, hot springs for Peter and even had a happy hour with music and damper.
Warrego River Camping Qld

Great camping on the Warrego River. First at Gowrie and then a week or so later at Wyandra. The river is very muddy looking but the camping is wonderful.
Camping NSW

Head of the Bight, Nullarbor SA

Watch the Southern Right Whales at the Head of the Bight, mums and bubs frolicking in the water, a great sight.
