    Columbia River Gorge

    July 16, 2018 in the United States ⋅ ☀️ 34 °C

Two days of travel from Spokane to Portland through miles of high desert farmland and beautiful scenery along the Columbia River Gorge. Overnight stay last night in Tri-cities, WA. Tonight we are in Troutdale (Sandy Riverfront RV Resort) where we will stay for three nights.
We had our first sighting of dust devils in the farmland and lots of white pelicans over the river.

TravelerGreat RV park, our site overlooks the Sandy River and appears to be the “beach” for the Portland area. Lots of tubers and swimmers launching from both sides of the river where there are large parks.
