    We drove across the bottom of the ocean floor at low tide to reach Ministers Island, the estate of Sir William Van Horne. It is only accessible at low tide and a strange feeling to know that the path will be covered by 20 feet of water when the tide comes in. The island houses his 50 room estate and the country's largest wooden barn. The weather turned blustery and chilly while we were there so we ate our picnic lunch in the car!
