    Today we traveled north to Fredericton, the capital of New Brunswick. On one turn on the highway we suddenly faced a railroad underpass of 4 meters (13 ft.)! We came to screeching halt since we are a little taller. Some nice Canadian trucker stopped and told us that it actually was a little higher than posted and that we would fit underneath. Whew!
    After arriving we went on a walking tour of the historic city center.

    TravelerThey are the remains of the railroad bridge which was washed away by a flood and ice flow 1935.

    TravelerLots of history as Fredericton was a British Garrison town in which every building burned multiple times until they rebuilt in brick and stone!
