Cabot Trail/Chiticamp

Yesterday we drove seven hours in solid rain to get to Cape Breton Island in Nova Scotia. We are staying in Baddeck on the Bras d' Or Lake.
Today we drove up the west side of the Cabot Trail to the fishing village of Chiticamp. It was still raining and cold and the wind was gale force at over forty knots. The waves on the coast were crashing on the rocks but the locals said this was a mild summer day!
After we returned to Baddeck, we visited the Alexander Graham Bell Museum. He had an estate in Baddeck where he did much research and some of his inventions.Leia mais
