Digby/Ft. Anne

Today we drove to nearby Digby to see the port and eat their famed scallops. Yum! Dick was happy to also be able to watch the launching of Angela O, a large Digby scallop boat at the harbor. Afterward we returned to Annapolis Royal and toured Ft. Anne which was the most fought over land in all of North America. The fort contained a beautiful tapestry depicting the history of Annapolis Royal. We ended the day by going on a ghost tour through the Garrison Graveyard by the fort.
