Toraja - Day 3

Anche oggi una giornata piena di avventure, panorami spettacolari e male al sedere dallo scooter 😂!
Siamo stati in un’altra grotta vecchia di centinaia di anni, dove si trovano diversi scheletri visibili, appartenenti a diverse classi sociali. A dipendenza della classe sociale viene costruita una bara di forma diversa.
Dopodichè abbiamo visitato altri monumenti funerari per poi finire a girare con lo scooter diversi paesi tipici lungo strade tortuose e non sempre al top.
La cosa bella di oggi sono state le belle terrazze di riso con delle viste spettacolari sulle montagne. Peccato che diversi posti sono in stato di siccità per via che la stagione delle piogge tarda ad arrivare.
Domani sarà un giorno di relax per poi partire lunedi per la mia prossima destinazione.

Even today a day full of adventures, spectacular views and pain in the butt from the scooter 😂!
We went to another cave hundreds of years old, where there are several visible skeletons, belonging to different social classes. Depending on the social class, a coffin of different shape is built.
Afterwards we visited other funerary monuments and then ended up touring various typical villages with the scooter along rough and not always top-notch roads.
The great thing today was the beautiful rice terraces with spectacular views of the mountains. It's a shame that several places are in a state of drought because the rainy season is not started yed as it should.
Tomorrow will be a relaxing day and then I'll leave on Monday for my next destination.Les mer
