Raja Ampat - Arborek Island

Bellissima Arborek! Si tratta di un’isola di sabbia piccolissima, percorribile tutta a piedi nudi in 20 minuti. Qui abbiamo alloggiato alla Sunset Homestay, su delle casette in legno sull’acqua molto belle. Il cibo qui era ok, ma tutti molto gentili. E si possono comperare le birre da bere sulla spiaggia, contemplando bellissimi tramonti.
Qui ad Arborek abbiamo passato del tempo con una coppia ungaro-spagnola, Esme e Laszlo, e assieme ad un gruppo di ragazzi cinque germanici.

Insieme siamo andati a fare delle belle immersioni dove abbiamo visto le mante, gli squali wobbegong e probabile anche un’orca!

Insieme abbiamo fatto un tour a Pyanemo, che è un il punto famoso delle isole Raja Ampat. Si tratta di un complesso di isole circondato da un acqua verde/blu che regala un panorama stupendo.
In questa zona si trova anche il famoso Melissa Garden, una barriera corallina in salute e coloratissima, adatta sia per lo snorkeling sia per le immersioni.

Sono stati cinque giorni molto belli! Ora ci aspetta un bel viaggio fino alla nostra prossima destinazione, dove dovremmo arrivare sabato 9.12.2023!

Beautiful Arborek! It is a very small sandy island, which can be explored barefoot in 20 minutes. Here we stayed at the Sunset Homestay, in some very beautiful wooden houses on the water. The food here was ok, but everyone was very friendly. And you can buy beers to drink on the beach and see amazing sunsets!
Here in Arborek we spent time with a Hungarian-Spanish couple, Esme and Laszlo, and together with a group of five German guys.

Together we went on some nice dives where we saw manta rays, wobbegong sharks and probably even a killer whale!

Together we took a tour to Pyanemo, which is a famous spot in Raja Ampat islands. It is a complex of islands surrounded by green/blue water which offers a wonderful view.
In this area there is also the famous Melissa Garden, a healthy and colorful coral reef, suitable for both snorkeling and diving.

They were five very beautiful days! Now we have a nice journey ahead of us to our next destination, where we should arrive on Saturday 9.12.2023!Read more
