Bikaner

Bikaner è un’altra città famosa anche per le sue haveli ma soprattutto per il Karni Mata, il tempio dei topi. Secondo la leggenda questo tempio venne costruito per radunare i topi della zona in un unico posto, così da bloccare la loro infestazione nelle case della gente. I topi vengono nutriti in questo tempio, perché pensati come reincarnazione dei morti.

La cittá di Bikaner presenta anche un forte molto bello (Junagarh Fort), dove hanno vissuto delle famiglie reali.

Aggirarsi per le strade di Bikaner è molto bello, ammirando anche gli aquiloni che volano in cielo. A gennaio si tiene sempre una fiera dove vengono fatti volare tantissimi aquiloni.
