Ubud

Ubud, cittàdina di Bali famosa per i suoi campi di riso e per il tempio delle scimmie.
Infatti ad Ubud esiste questo tempio dove è pieno di scimmie - è stato molto divertente vederle tutte insieme nella loro quotidianità.
A Ubud abbiamo vistato altri campi di riso molto carini e fatto un giro per la cittadina, così come fatto una purificazione al tempio Tirta Empul e visto il tempio Goa Gajah
La purificazione consisteva nel lavarsi sotto diversi getti d’acqua dopo aver fatto una donazione e preghiera agli dei.
Sono stati due templi molto interessanti, dove abbiamo potuto apprendere un po’ di nuove informazioni sull’induismo.

Una mattina poi ci siamo alzate molto presto per andare a fare un trekking all’alba sul monte Batur. È stata una salita abbastanza veloce perchè la Elena è super in forma, ma è stato molto bello, così come la vista da lassu.
È stata una bella esperienza, seguita dal bagno in delle belle hotsprings e infine una visita ad una piantagione di caffe molto carina.

Ubud, a small town in Bali famous for its rice fields and the monkey temple.
In fact, in Ubud there is this temple where it is full of monkeys - it was very fun to see them all together in their daily life.
In Ubud we saw other very nice rice fields and took a tour around the town, as well as did a purification at the Tirta Empul temple and saw the Goa Gajah temple
The purification consisted of washing oneself under several jets of water after making a donation and prayer to the gods.
They were two very interesting temples, where we were able to learn some new information about Hinduism.

Then one morning we got up very early to go for a dawn trek on Mount Batur. It was a pretty quick climb because Elena is super fit, but it was very beautiful, as was the view from up there.
It was a nice experience, followed by a 2-hours bath in the hotsprings and afterward a visit to a nice coffee plantation.Lue lisää
