• Exploring Doha - Day 1

    August 11 in Qatar ⋅ ☀️ 42 °C

    First day exploring Doha!
It’s really hot, the sun is strong and the air feels like being in a sauna.
    But this doesn’t stop me!
I started my day going to The Pearl, a human-made neighborhood which big palaces. I wanted to walk around a bit, but it was too much due to the hot temperatures, therefore I headed to my next stop: Katara Cultural Village.

Here at Katara you can visit a beautiful mosque, but to enter you need to cover as a muslim (they give you the clothes at the entrance).
There is also an amazing amphitheater and other stuff to see, like a stairs made with mosaics.

After buying something to drink and refreshed my selfe in the AC, I decided to go to one of the biggest shopping malls of Qatar (is not the biggest, but for me it was already) - Doha Festival
City. If you need to do some shopping Doha is the best place to do it, there are so many different and big big malls.

The afternoon ended with a visit to the National Museum of Qatar, where it was possible to learn the history of Qatar and a small walk along the Corniche.
The museum visit was followed then to a dinner in Souq Waqif, which was offered to me from a Qatari and a small shopping tour in the nice shoppings of this market.
