Exploring Doha - Day 2

A second day walking around the city with this hot weather - I like a lot the hot temperatures, but I also have a limit…
After an amazing breakfast, I walked for 20/25minutes till the museum of Islamic Art, a very nice museum with a lot of interesting art pieces.
My visit was followed by a drive with Uber to the Qatar National University, which was too big…my idea was to walk around it, but it was impossible, the walking distances are huge.
Therefore I directed myself toward the nearest Metro Station, but google maps was saying 30/35 minutes more…at this point I met a nice French Professor that drove me to my next destination, Lusail, showing me a bit around.

At Lusail, after some picture, I took thr metro and went to the Qatar National Library, a huge library within the Education City, another complex of universities. There are a lot of really cool buildings around there, but again, walking is not a good option. Therefore I only went to a Mosque near the library and then moved back to Souq Waqif, where I had a nice dinner and then went home, to get ready for tonight’s flight.Read more
