Chivari

At Chivari we stayed for three nights from which we visited Cinque Terra and Portofino. Chivari itself is a lovely city with buildings painted with the 3D look.....in the European colors. It has good beaches and our accommodation was good though has no air conditioning which meant difficulty sleeping in the heat. We took a day trip to Portofino by ferry which was very enjoyable. The views from the top of the old monastery on hill over Portofino were great....and the usual super yachts and launches tired up to the piers seemed to me to defend more time being polished by their staff.
