Millau

We decided on a rural drive to Millau from Sete which proved to be very long but no road tolls! The road took us through farming and hill country and the town of Roquefort where the famous goat cheese is made. Coming into Millau you cannot miss the bridge in the sky.... It's an engineering masterpiece. We then headed up the Gorge du Tarn, which is a French version of the Grand Canyon. Very enjoyable drive up and back with it's tunnels and high mountain like cliffs and river for campers and kayakers by the score.Read more
