Long name for a very nice village. On the border with Britain, this Burgh changed hands 10 times between Scotland and Britain before settling in England (subject to much heated debate at every Scottish pub). Almost all of the fortress walls are still intact and in many cases the ramparts and earthen bombardments remain. The North Sea and the river Tweed create the other borders and make a snug surround to a peaceful place.Les mer
