Train Split to Zagreb

Bye bye Split! We departed at 8:30am, arriving in the Croatian capital city of Zagreb at 4:00pm.
Beautiful country along the whole trip. Mountains valleys and thick forests alongside. However the train is very very slow. The track has just not yet been upgraded for even moderate speeds. Many train stations along the route have abandoned buildings and others showed bullet damage from the 1995 war.Read more
