The town of Hvar is on the island of Hvar, about 47K from Split. The fast catamaran ferry gets there in about one hour. I went for a day.

Our second stop in Bosnia-Herzegovina was the small town of Medugorje. This town is the 4th most popular Catholic Pilgrimage destination in Europe. Big surprise for me!

Dubrovnik castle was visited by privateers at sunset. A beautiful two mast sloop, filled with pirates, came into the small protected harbor to steel away a few souls into the night. The sloop wasWeiterlesen
Cross the border into Montenegro and we had breakfast and a walk about in Perast.
The was a road on the water and a single walkway on the other side.
Just adorable.
Second stop in Montenegro. Another walled city. Not much different than others that we’ve seen.
