Sunset over Ronda, Spain

With dinner done and the sky still light we decided to have a brief stroll through town before calling it a day. We are still trying to get use to the long days here, where restaurants don’t open until 8pm and the sun is still up. The beauty of this though is that our after dinner walk resulted in us capturing the sun setting over the hills and valley of Ronda, at 9.30pm. Unheard of in Australia. It was lovely having a walk around the edge of town with the beautiful sunset as the backdrop while we got our first glimpse of what brought us here in the first place, the Puente Nuevo or “New Bridge of Ronda”.
