PengembaraOoga-ooga - the name of the monster type being created in many guises by each village. It takes quite a while to make (involving the whole village) and is then carried through the streets in a parade on the last day of the Balinese year. All the oogas are taken to the cemetery at the end of the day and burned - symbolism of cleaning the area of bad spirits for the start of the new year (Nyepi) which starts the next day as a day of silence - no work, no shops, no going out AT ALL.
