Temple of Heaven

We visited the Temple of Heaven. It's located inside a huge and amazing park. We also saw squirrels there!

The complex was visited by the Emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties for annual ceremonies of prayer to Heaven for good harvest.

We saw the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests, The Circular Mound Altar and the Palace of Abstinence.

The park is so well-maintained and you can get lost between these beautiful cypress trees. We saw also a lot of people playing with cards or just chilling.
