Day 8 Davenport to Coeur D' Alene

75.16 miles, 2242 ft. A longer mileage day meant an earlier rollout. The morning route followed Hwy 2 and some parallel side roads. A few miles out of Davenport, we stopped at the Inland NW Rail Museum for a few pics. There was one steep climb as we approached the outskirts of Spokane.

Lunch was at Riverside Park and the trailhead of the Spokane River Centennial Trail. This trail winds along the Spokane River to the Idaho border, where the North Idaho Centennial Trail continued to Coeur D' Alene. Another beautiful day with wonderful scenery.Meer informatie
