Travel plan changes..

Well. We were scheduled to take the train back from Dresden to Berlin, have a few hours to pick up, then leave at 3:00 am for the airport. We got to the train station and as we were waiting, they cancelled our train. We spent a while in line at the customer service counter and got rebooked for an hour later on a new train. That was packed! We killed time by playing Go Fish and the kids loved it. As we were stepping off the train, I got a text that our flight had been cancelled! So we got back to our apartment and spent a few hours trying to get a hold of someone. Eventually got an email that they had rebooked us on a new flight. Hooray! Except that new flight was TWO DAYS LATER! There were legit no other flights before that. We tried. The boys were pretty upset at first, since we had been traveling for 16 days and they were so excited to see their pets. We went to sleep and decided to figure it all out the next day. We ended up finding a hotel across the city, so we packed up and headed there. It was a great hotel. Tiny rooms, but modern and clean with a great free breakfast. We all had better outlooks and attitudes, and took advantage of two extra days in this great city. Czytaj więcej
