    – 5,1 kg Gepäck für 14 Tage. Passt.
    – Boardgepäck-Untersuchung am Flughafen Frankfurt: eine viertel volle Zahnpastatube löste eine komplette Durchsuchung des Travel-Light-Rucksacks aus!
    – Der Sicherheitsmann war nicht zimperlich.
    – Leider kein Foto von der Aktion, weil das Handy noch in der anderen Schale lag.

    – 5.1 kg luggage for 14 days. Perfect fit.
    – Carry-on inspection at Frankfurt Airport: a quarter-full toothpaste tube triggered a full search of the Travel Light backpack!

    Nach 32h ohne Schlaf endlich 13:00 Uhr Check-in. 🕐
    Zimmer in der 10. Etage bezogen – und sofort hoch zum Pool im 4. Stock. 🏊‍♂️
    Getestet, für gut befunden ✔️. Nebenan: das Nachbarhotel hat auch Wasser. 🌊
    Der Schatten? Winzig! Wie damals in Mexiko – Sonne knallt von oben. ☀️🇲🇽

    After ~32 hours without sleep, finally checked in at 13:00. 🕐

    Morgens raus zum Laufen. 🏃‍♂️
    24 Grad, Regen noch wärmer als die Luft – duschen beim Laufen! 🚿
    Zurück ins Hotel, direkt in den Pool – im Regen schwimmen. 🏊‍♂️ Und ja: das Wasser fühlt sich wärmer an als die Luft.

    – Gestern Nachmittag: klarer Blick, Architektur und Details voll sichtbar 👀

    🇩🇪 Zwischen Shopping & Tempeln
    Die Mädels wollten shoppen – ich nicht. Also losgezogen: Waterloo Street.
    Eine der ältesten Straßen in Singapur, bekannt für ihre Mischung aus Tempeln, Kirchen und lokalen Märkten.
    Zwischen kleinen Märkten und Seitenstraßen taucht plötzlich echtes lokales Singapur auf. 🛍️
    Der Kwan Im Thong Hood Cho Tempel voller Menschen, Räucherstäbchen in der Luft. Direkt daneben der farbenfrohe Sri Krishnan Tempel. 🛕
    Straße voll mit Blumenhändlern, kleinen Ständen und diesem bunten Mix aus Religion & Alltag.
    Anders als Marina Bay – weniger glatt, viel authentischer.

    🇬🇧 Between shopping & temples
    The girls went shopping – I didn’t. So I headed to Waterloo Street.
    One of the oldest streets in Singapore, known for its mix of temples, churches and local markets.
    Amidst small markets and side alleys – a taste of real local Singapore. 🛍️
    The Kwan Im Thong Hood Cho Temple packed with people, incense smoke in the air. Right next to it, the colorful Sri Krishnan Temple. 🛕
    Stalls with flowers, offerings, snacks – a vibrant blend of religion and everyday life.

    Duo Galleria Hexa-Vibes

    Die Duo Galleria mit ihrer hexagonalen Fassade wirkt wie ein riesiges Wabennetz in den Himmel gebaut. 🐝
    Shopping, Restaurants, Büros – aber das Highlight ist die Architektur selbst.
    Eckig, rund, verspielt, alles auf einmal – ein echter Blickfang mitten in der City.

    🇩🇪 Großes Viertel, viele Welten
    Chinatown – ein ganzes Viertel voller Eindrücke. 🐉
    Im Zentrum, südwestlich der Marina Bay. Entstand im 19. Jh. als Siedlungsgebiet für chinesische Einwanderer.
    Heute eine Mischung aus Tradition & Moderne: Tempel, Märkte, Food-Street, Souvenirshops, Rooftop-Bars.
    Zwischen historischen Shophouses, dem prächtigen Buddha Tooth Relic Temple und dem bunten Sri Mariamman Tempel mischt sich Streetfood mit Souvenirständen. 🍜🛕
    Tradition trifft Moderne – überall Farben, Gerüche, Geräusche.
    Groß, lebendig, überfordernd – aber genau das macht den Reiz aus.

    Chinatown – a whole district of impressions. 🐉
    Located in the city center, southwest of Marina Bay. Originated in the 19th century as a settlement for Chinese immigrants.
    Today it’s a mix of tradition & modernity: temples, markets, food street, souvenir shops, rooftop bars.

    Was für ein Abschluss dieses Tages! Das kann keiner mehr nehmen – diese Erinnerungen bleiben.
    Der Sands SkyPark thront wie ein riesiges Schiff über den drei Türmen des Marina Bay Sands. 🌉
    340 Meter lang, 200 Meter hoch, mit Infinity-Pool, Bars, Restaurants und Gärten.
    Bis zu 3.900 Menschen finden hier gleichzeitig Platz – und doch wirkt der Blick über die Skyline grenzenlos.
    Seit 2010 eines der Wahrzeichen der Stadt, jährlich von Millionen besucht.
    Architektur und Ausblick – einfach der Hammer! 🤯✨

    Kleine Jogging-Runde, diesmal weniger Regen als gestern. 🏃‍♂️
    Über die Helix Bridge, weiter zum The Lawn – morgens noch leer, abends wohl Hotspot für Jogger & Sehen-und-gesehen-werden. 😉
    Dann durch den Financial District – zwischen den Hochhäusern laufen, auch nicht schlecht!
    Nebenbei eine neue Funktion in Apple Maps entdeckt: Routenplanung speziell für Fußgänger. Praktisch, gerade in einer Stadt wie Singapur. 📱🗺️

    Zu Fuß unterwegs zum Hard Rock Café.
    Die Route führte über die berühmte Orchard Road – 2,5 km Shopping-Tempel, eine Luxusmeile der Superlative. 🛍️✨
    Von Gucci bis Apple Store, von ION Orchard bis Paragon – hier reiht sich eine Mall an die nächste.
    Eigentlich eine Einkaufsstraße der Superreichen, für mich aber nur ein Durchgang zum nächsten Ziel: Rock ’n’ Roll! 🎸🍔🍺

    Zum Schluss des Tages nach Little India.
    Kleinigkeit gegessen, entspannt durch die Straßen gezogen. 🌯🍹
    Historisches Viertel, entstanden im 19. Jh. als Siedlungsgebiet für indische Einwanderer.
    Heute voller bunter Tempel wie den Sri Veeramakaliamman Tempel, Gewürzläden, Stoffgeschäfte und Goldschmiede.
    Auch das Tekka Centre ist bekannt für indisches Streetfood.
    Viel touristisch, klar – aber immer noch ein eigener Vibe.
    Ein Kontrast zu den glatten Malls von Orchard Road – hier wirkt alles lebendiger, chaotischer, authentischer.

    The Tekka Centre is also famous for Indian street food.
    Yes, a bit touristy – but still with its own vibe.
