Day 16: Göteborgs skärgård

Due to the nice people I meet on the way and who also want to following my blog, so I am now continuing this blog in English...
Today I paddled a bit disoriented towards Brännö under blue skies and many clouds due to wind and waves. There I hoped for expert knowledge at a kayak rental, regarding my overnight stay today and the onward journey to Lake Vänern. The canoe rental was closed and empty , but on the way I met three super nice craftsmen who were on their way to the house of one for a breakfast break. So I jumped on the "lastmoped" and joined them.
They answered all my questions and treated me to hot tea and "Smörbröd med ägg". Some time ago there was a paddler from Kiel who was threatened by a ram, so the first question to me was whether I am a paddler from Kiel. They brought me than to the village shop and we said goodbye warmly. I finally packed my things and paddled to a lonely sauna on Galterö, where I spent the afternoon sitting in the sun and reading. A really nice lazy holiday day! Late in the afternoon I met two Belarusians who wanted to use the sauna, which we did together. We also joined our dinner. What a nice day!Read more
