Duomo tour

Today we took a Duomo tour and climbed the 500 steps through the double dome structure to the top where we had a panoramic view of the city. The intricate details both inside and outside of the building were truly breathtaking. One our tour finished and we walked down the 500 steps to get out we went for a drink in the shade to cool down. We took an easy walk around Florence in the afternoon and returned to the hotel as I wasn’t feeling well (nothing to do with the wine tour the day before!).
