RejsendeOh, wow. Are we speaking of the same Hershey of the Hershey empire? If so, I don't understand why those tiny enclosures and cages can't be updated to sizes more appropriate for the animals who live in them.
RejsendeYes, it’s Milton Hershey from the Hershey chocolate company. The zoo has been there since 1910. It’s just a small section of the park. They don’t even charge extra to get into it. They see they do lots of things to help stimulate the animals - like food, puzzles, and toys and stuff. They have trainers on site that love the animals and do their best for them with what they have. But they’re all animals that would have been put down if they weren’t there so I’m not sure what’s better and we can’t ask the animals.
