Back Home

Due to the current Virus I had to go home 4 weeks earlier but I'm happy now to be back with all the friends and the unforgettable memories I made.
On my way south I stopped two days in Porto Alegre but instead of going to Uruguay I decided to stay in Brasil and get back up north due to the Coronavirus situation.
Spent 10 relaxing days in Florianopolis with amazing beaches and a lot of sun. Stayed at Praia do Campeche, Lagoa da Conceicao and Barra da Lagoa. I had my first surf lesson, went on a daytrip to Ilha do Campeche and I went playing golf at Costao Golf Club. It was amazing here and I will miss the place.Read more
Carneval of Rio was 7 days party. It was absolutely crazy and stunning especially the main parade Sambodromo.
Been a few days in San Pedro de Atacama. It's supposed to be the driest desert in the World.
3 day Tour trough Salar de Uyuni to San Pedro de Atacama in Chile. Salar de Uyuni is the biggest salt dessert in the World with 12.000 km2. On the first day we went trough the dessert and took amazing pictures on the perfect mirror. The second day we drive trough the national park and the last day after 850km driving we crossed the border to Chile and arrived in San Pedro the Atacama.Read more
The city of Potosí is located 3.900 meter above sea level. The main attraction is to visit the Silver Mines where about 4.500 people work under very hard conditions. Around 5 people die every month due to accidents with dynamite or toxic gases. Potosí is the only place in the world where you can buy dynamite on the market.Read more
Next stop in Bolivia Cochabamba. Its a very nice quiet town where I met my friend Carla. Went up (1.500 stairs) to the second highest Christ statue in the world (highest is in Poland).
