• Kumbhalgarh Fort

    It is also known as the Great Wall of India and is a fortress on the westerly range of Aravalli Hills in Kumbhalgarh in the Rajsamand district of the Rajasthan state.

    The wall of Kumbhalgarh is one of the longest continuous walls in the world, spanning 36 kilometers, making it I assume 😅 number 2 in the world after the Chinese one.

    Situated ~84 km from Udaipur, it was quite a thing getting there without loosing 2 full days, so we finally opted for a private taxi, which made the ride there not less of a struggle 🤪..
    The single-lane roads 🛣️ with some abnormal potholes 🚧 not only made the two-hour journey there quite adventurous, but also turned out to be a trigger 🫨 and therefore not quite so conducive for two migraine patients🤕🤕...
    Vic was only able to enjoy the view and the tremendous power that this fort exudes to a limited extent, despite taking strong medication.
