Pushkar - the holy city

Pushkar was somehow a must on our trip. We had heard so many positive things about this holy city and its sacred lake and colorful temples, but we have to admit that we did not really do much in Pushkar besides shopping, eating and just enjoying the time with friends from home we met there. 😄
After an initial “tourist shock” (yeah Pushkar has loads of artists from Europe and other countries that kind of live here for a few months and work on their jewelry or clothing stuff), we actually loved just wandering the vibrant (but due to Maha Shivratri also veeerrry loud) streets, exploring markets and buying souvenirs for us & loved ones in the different shops and just soaking in the spiritual vibe of this small city.
