Jaisalmer - the golden city

The trip from Udaipur to Jaisalmer by sleeper night bus 🚌🛌 was something out of a horror movie 🥵😤😭🤬😱😱.. we managed to arrive ALIVE 🙏🏽, but thinking back… wow how stupid to even board that “thing” which basically didn’t have one single part that was not broken 😱😅🫣

Buuut…
I wanted to go there sooo badly and Jaisalmer, or the "Golden City," was more than worth the ride!! It is like stepping into a living fairytale. 😍

Nestled in the heart of the Thar Desert, its stunning sandstone architecture glows a warm, golden hue under the sun. Wandering through its winding alleys, we found vibrant bazaars, ancient forts and intricate havelis - through which I only managed to find a way out thanks to my personal GPS - Victor 😂🥰
We simply loved this city and we would have loved to stay even a bit more … next time!
