Day 13 - Clare Valley to Renmark

Just for something different, a cold morning.

Bacon and egg roll and a coffee from our favourite restaurant (which also happened to be the only one close to us) in the Valley before hitting the road.

Passed a number of beautiful little towns before hitting the main Sturt Hwy.

Managed to see some more Silo Art, this time in Eudunda.

Some of the roads today left a little to be desired. Felt like we were on a roller coaster.

We were potentially going to stay an extra night in Clare Valley at the expense of 1 night here in Renmark. Thank goodness we didn’t. We are located in bays about 5 metres from the edge of the Murray River. Couldn’t ask for a better location.

Another great home cooked meal sitting by the river in front of our own personal fire pit.

The telescope made another appearance tonight, but once again the clouds rolled in and spoilt it.

It wasn’t as cold tonight as it has been to date so we found our selves around the fire til a staggering 9 pm.Read more
