Sali Mali and Le Petit Prince, signing in.

Right well I should have written this yesterday but I did not, in fact, because I couldn’t be bothered.

    But let’s see.

We awoke armed with the knowledge that we had to get up, dressed, eat breakfast, and go to surf.

This took some time since Andrea was not in an awake mood. I helpfully informed her that she was worse than a baby and strangely that did not improve the situation.

All the same, we did get up after Ali informed us we were making our own pastries! So I speedily put on my swaggy new purple skirt and my cardigan and swished downstairs with Andrea, in a better more awake mood.

Granny and Terry showed up, and Dex informed me that my skirt (which I thought was very cool) was very impractical and that I should change. So that hurt my feelings and I cried inside haha.

But my pastries made up for it, one being a pinwheel shape and it had nutella and marshmallow, yum yum, and the other was marmite, jalapeno and tomato.

    Yum yum!

After breakfast, I hung out with Dex as she painted her nails, and then Granny was shouting that it was time to go!! And I wasn’t ready, but I jumped in the car with haste all the same.

During the drive, I wrote one of my blogs and it felt like we got there all too soon.

Parking was terrible, and there were so many free spots but granny chose to park where a fence had been broken and there was wood on the floor? So halfway through parking she had to get out and move them? Why?

    Who knows.

But then we had to walk for ten minutes to the place (the car park was unusually far away). How do I know it was ten minutes, you ask? Oh, if you know me, I think you know… I think you know all too well…

It said so on their website, duh!

But I did have to fact check this and played ATWTMVTVFTVLPSS obviously. This did involve a lot of dramatic dancing, turning, stopping, pointing, acting like I had a stomach ache, and being very excessive.

Andrea was not amused and refused to sing along.

But then we arrived, and after changing into wetsuits, taking some pics, and putting clothes in fun lockers, we waited a while and then we started the surfing lesson!

I realise that I forgot to mention that we were going to the Wave, a man made lagoon thing that vaguely resembles a sixth of the hunger games arena. You know, the water clock one. So that bodes well!

Granny, Ali, Andrea, and I, were surfing, but Dann, Terry and Dex went to a park because Dann couldn’t surf. We started off doing some exercises and learning the techniques, and after what seemed perhaps like too little time, we were in the water!

For the first two or three, there was no stopping me. I stood up, rode the waves like I was butt-naked haha like greece.

(Disclaimer: I was always clothed in greece this is just something tate said once)

The next few times I failed miserably, having forgotten all technique immediately, but the lady was really very helpful and so I managed to succeed.

    Andrea not so much.

She said she was not a fan and had a hard time standing up, in fact she never made it. She certainly tried and I was very impressed, same with Ali who was giving seal vibes in the best way possible.

Oh wait, news just came in, Andrea was a pro surfer and check out the picture below!

But Dann, Terry and Dex showed up at one point, and when we got out we all had lunch in the park. Oh, and Dann stressed the importance of taking candid shots. Thanks Dann.

Andrea learnt that Terry would fake a french accent?? On stage?? For no reason at all?? She found this hilarious and compliments his accent.

After that, Dex sent some strange messages to Lily, and we laughed a lot at this, but we had to go and so I walked back with Dexie who insisted on running a lot. Andrea had the better idea of walking calmly with Terry. Much less sport.

When we got home, everyone had a nap and Andrea and I hung out with Dex. A rather chill time was had, but mum called at one point and then the adults kept waking up and Dex insisted that someone make a show with her. Since I was on the phone, Andrea was the victim of choice.

    That was fun!

I went to the kitchen to watch them dance outside and laugh evilly, but (sadly) the time came to make popcorn and watch Encanto!

A chill time was had by all, but halfway through Granny and Terry had to go, which was quite sad. But I consoled myself with the knowledge that we would see them soon.

(It is worth mentioning that we convinced Terry he was going crazy by turning on a light-electric-lightning thing, and telling him it was off, and that he was seeing things haha).

Once Encanto (and pasta for dinner) was finished, Dexie had to go upstairs for bath time, and Andrea and I tried to be helpful and help Ali clean the kitchen. Were we helpful? Who knows!

Afterwards Dann, Andrea and I played Citadels once more, and we once again bopped out to tavern tunes™️, but not Taylore Swifte this time.

And it is worth noting that I stole a card off Dann, and that card made it so that everyone had to say “thanks, your excellency” if you where the king, and if you called them. If they did not, they skip a turn.

I was the king, and rejoiced in the title that was given to me.

Ali also drew Andrea which was cool, and also some pumpkins, and also we said that the Architect card was “Boff” according to Dann and has now been dubbed the architect boff.

But afterwards we did end up getting tired so we retired to our room (sounds fancy) and slapped real good as tate would say aka had a good sleep.

Honorary mention today goes to Granny shutting down some business guys (not today but some time ago) by saying “well who will you meet with?” When they said they’d come anyway- I chuckled when thsi part was told.
